I have worked in the field of substance abuse for over 13 years. My experience with adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues, as well as dual diagnosed clients, is extensive. My experience includes working in residential programs, and out patient programs, counseling men, women, and women and their children. As a team member, I was involved in the design and implementation of the first drug offenders¹ therapeutic community with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Training companies to implement various levels and types of substance abuse has also been part of my experience. I have strong clinical skills at working with Native American populations and currently oversee a culturally relevant program in Bethel, Alaska. I am also in the process of acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
